Campaign Contribution Refund Policy

1. Finality of Contributions

 

All contributions made to the Shreffler for Tulsa County Treasurer 2026 campaign are final and non-refundable. Political donations are used immediately to support campaign operations and are reported to election authorities. Refunds cannot be guaranteed except as required by law.

 

2. Legal Compliance

 

In compliance with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) and the Oklahoma Ethics Commission, refunds will be issued if a contribution:

• Exceeds the legal contribution limits under 11 CFR § 110.1,

• Is made by a prohibited source (such as a corporation, foreign national, or anonymous donor),

• Violates any provision of FEC Regulation 11 CFR § 103.3(b) or Oklahoma Ethics Commission Rule 257:10‑1‑20, or

• Is otherwise impermissible under federal or state law.

All such contributions will be refunded or returned in full as required.

 

3. Duplicate or Erroneous Transactions

 

If a donor believes their contribution was made in error or duplicated, they may contact the campaign within 48 hours at info@shrefflerfortulsa.com. The campaign may, at its discretion, issue a refund following verification.

 

4. Recordkeeping and Reporting

 

All refunds—mandatory or discretionary—will be documented and reported in compliance with:

• FEC Regulations (§ 103.3 and § 104.8)

• Oklahoma Ethics Commission Rules (§ 257:10‑1‑20)
