Meet Brandon Shreffler

Republican Candidate for Tulsa County Treasurer

 

Brandon Shreffler is a proud Oklahoman, U.S. Navy veteran, and member of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. A seasoned financial professional with a strong commitment to service, accountability, and community, Brandon was born in Sapulpa and raised in west Tulsa. He graduated from Berryhill High School in 1999 before serving honorably in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Wyoming (SSBN 742), later continuing his service in the Pacific Command Reserve until 2008.

 

After completing his service, Brandon earned a Bachelor's degree in Business and Finance from Oklahoma State University and an MBA from Oklahoma Wesleyan University. Over the course of his career, he has worked in key financial and leadership roles—Financial Analyst, Business Manager, Auditor, and Project Manager—across industries such as lumber, oil and gas, and telecommunications.

 

Since 2006, Brandon and his wife have lived in Owasso, where they’ve raised their three children and actively contributed to their community. He has previously served on the Owasso Sales Tax Watchdog Committee and as Treasurer for the Owasso Soccer Club and the Owasso Track and Cross Country Booster Club, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to transparency and fiscal stewardship.

 

Now, Brandon is ready to bring his experience and integrity to the role of Tulsa County Treasurer. His priorities include:

• Modernizing Operations: Implementing technology to streamline processes and improve accessibility for taxpayers.

• Enhancing Transparency: Providing clear financial reports to build trust and accountability.

• Optimizing Investments: Ensuring taxpayer funds are invested wisely to maximize returns with fiscal security.

 

Brandon knows firsthand the importance of responsible financial management—at home, in business, and in government. His unique combination of military discipline, private-sector expertise, and community service equips him to bring practical, trustworthy leadership to the Treasurer’s Office. With a focus on transparency, accountability, and service, he’s ready to ensure Tulsa County’s finances work for the people.
